5 Ideas To Help You Navigate New Online Opportunities

One of the biggest challenges today people have a world that's changing very fast is exploring and navigating new opportunities. I see so many people are getting overwhelmed because there's an abundance of opportunities, technology has developed that for us, and so too has the online world. Today, I want to share with you five ideas on how it is you can better navigate the new opportunities that you might be facing.

Hi, my name is Jimmi Bradbury, I'm an International Executive Business Coach. I'm also the founder of the young entrepreneurs Academy and the Online Business Academy.


Tip number one is establish why you want to go into that new opportunity or look at it. And what is it you want to achieve. From my own perspective, when I started in the online world four years ago, for me why I went into the online world is because I saw the huge opportunity. And I saw the potential to be able to impact people, share my knowledge, share my message, share my life experiences, to be able to help and impact other people to be able to use that impact to be able to generate and monetize a business that I could then contribute and give back to people who are less well off than I. That's the reason why I started in the online world. And what it is I want to achieve, I want to achieve impact. I want to help people be able to understand my story and the message and be able to go on and live a much more enjoyable life with more time and financial freedom by moving out of a nine to five and generating an online business that can give them that time and financial freedom. That's why I did it. And that's what I wanted to achieve, you need to be really clear about what you're wanting to do, what you want to achieve, and why you want to do it. That's tip number one.


Tip number two is make sure to do the research. Today we've got an abundance of opportunities to be able to do the research. There's fantastic social media platforms like LinkedIn, where you can actually search the companies, you can search the content, you can search the topic, you can search the people, and be able to really be able to profile the things that you want to do the people you want to get in contact with. And then start getting that momentum by starting to talk to those people who are already doing what it is you want to do. That's tip number two is do the research.


Tip number three is to reach out to people, reach out to people who are already on the path or are already doing the things that you want to explore and, and be able to get help from them, get insights and get wisdom from them. Again, a great opportunity to be able to do that is online, using platforms like LinkedIn, being able to get out, talk to those people who are already doing what it is you want to do.


Tip number four is make sure that you arrange a follow up, if you do make contact with people, make sure that you do follow up with those people. It's one thing to make the contact, it's one thing to be able to get the knowledge and experience, but make sure to follow up and have a plan in place to do that.


And tip number five is make sure that when you are following up with people is that you actually schedule the next move the next day, the next meeting, whatever that might be, make sure that you schedule it and you're very specific about it and get it into the calendar.


So hopefully those have been helpful for you. Again, if you're exploring new markets, five things that you should be doing is making sure why you're doing it and what it is you want to achieve. Number two is do the research number three is to make sure to reach out to people who've already got that wisdom, that experience that you're seeking in the markets they want to get into or the opportunities number four is make sure to follow up and schedule those meetings. And number five is really clear and specific about what the next thing that you want to do and if it is a date or meeting, make sure it's scheduled in the calendar.
