I think it is outdated and was built during the industrial revolution with bells and whistles and ‘sit in your seat’ and ‘don’t talk to anybody’ when we know, in today’s world, we have to collaborate rather than push people into college or university only to accumulate a huge debt without a guarantee of a purposeful, enjoyable job. Now those are my values, and I am not knocking schools, colleges and universities. I am just sharing what I feel from what I’ve observed over the years.
